In Early 2005, the firm undertook a district wide master plan that identified the middle school’s original 1939 building and major portions of the 1958 addition as areas of concern.  The firm was commissioned to design the replacement of the 1939 building and portions of the 1958 building to create and improve the optimal learning environment.  The new 2 story classroom addition will provide every new teaching area with natural lighting and will incorporate appropriate sized classrooms for today’s curriculum.  The exterior of the building will be curtain wall and masonry to incorporate some of the existing material and introduce several new materials such as metal panel.
