Keefe Hall - Bachelor Enlisted Quarters
The project scope involved a new 65,399 square foot Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) facility located at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Georgia. The project includes the design and construction of the BEQ using the standard Marine Corps 2X0 room design as specified in the UFC-4-27-10 for Navy and Marine Corps Bachelor Housing, associated storage, utilities, parking, site improvements, built-in equipment requirements, access, and anti-terrorism force protection (ATFP). The BEQ includes a noncommissioned officer bunk, laundry room, kitchen, barracks office, bicycle storage, and exterior washdown areas, plus an 8,000-sf common space with a movie theater, pool and air hockey tables, foosball, and seating areas. The project required a LEED Certified rating.
