Park Hall - Ball State University

“It has been my pleasure to work with CSO Architects.  Park Hall is beautiful and its design has incorporated the ideas and needs of students.  I have found them to be responsive to requests and to skillfully manage competing interests from campus constituent groups.  Our experience has been so positive that we have employed them for another new residence hall to be occupied in 2010.”

The firm was commissioned to design a new 500 bed residence hall for Ball State University on a site located on the east edge of the Muncie campus. As part of the schematic design process, a master plan for the precinct was created that includes the renovation of Dehority Hall, an existing adjacent residence hall and a renovation/expansion of the Woodworth Dining Hall to serve the newly created housing. Extensive quad development is anticipated that expands upon an existing creek to create a new complex that fully embraces its natural setting. The building was designed in association with Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Associates, lead designer and Rundell Ernstberger Associates, LLC. landscape architect.
