Carole Sandner Hall

CSO was asked to renovate the Earth Sciences Building, one of oldest buildings on campus, to a 21st century home for the Alliance for Catholic Education. The classroom in the center of the building, which at one time served as the chapel for the Sisters of Holy Cross, was renovated and modernized into an open space used by staff, students and guests as a study lounge and gathering area. The combination of these old and new spaces has created a fitting home for one of the University’s fastest growing programs. To quote Archbishop Timothy Dolan, “I don’t know of any place that gives more hope and promise than here, and this beautiful building is an icon of that.”
