Fishers High School

This project fulfilled two purposes. It expanded the high school capacity by 1,000 students while also creating a separate academy which reflects the most innovative design for teaching and learning with accessible space for early college classes that provide actual college credits for high school students. This major addition is 2 stories and reflects the qualities of 21st Century Design with copious daylight, transparency of learning spaces, ubiquitous technology and flexible learning spaces that are sized for small and large group gatherings.

There is a Student Learning Commons adjacent to the student café with technology tables and opportunities for small group collaboration. There are presentation rooms available and that are fully equipped with state of the art technology. There is one large open science lab for all of the disciplines as well as art labs that open to one another to provide a free flowing creative environment.
