Health Sciences Building

The new University of Indianapolis Health Pavilion consolidates several health sciences departments into a collaborative and integrated learning environment that promotes intellectual and social interaction among students and faculty. Included in the design are teaching spaces, faculty areas, research labs and wellness related areas for the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Kinesiology and Psychology Programs.

The first floor of the building accommodates a zoned public use area which provides informal, technology-rich learning spaces as well as dining and social areas with a two-story entry space. Adjacent to the entry on the second level is the interactive hub for students and faculty with access to an outdoor rooftop space. Also included is a 140 seat auditorium adjacent to the entry area. The building is designed following the principles of sustainable strategies, minimal environmental impact and energy usage.
