Science and Mathematics Center
New teaching methods spurred changes to this 30-year-old building. The Julian Science and Mathematics Center, the hub of the science and mathematics instruction at DePauw University, was in need of a complete overhaul to provide students with a learning environment that was in keeping with current teaching methods. The entire building was gutted and redone including classrooms, new library, Analytical lab, Bio-Chemistry lab, Chemistry lab, Environmental lab, Geology labs, Instrumentation lab, Laser lab, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) lab, Organic labs, Physics lab, Radioisotope lab, Wet lab and the addition of state-of-the-art technology.
