Replacing an existing locker room facility, the building is primarily geared to serve the championship football program as well as the training needs for the entire athletic program. A central circulation spine organizes the building and provides space to recognize the accomplishments of the program, athletes, and coaches. The layout allows the training room to be used by boys’ and girls’ teams of all sports while maintaining separation for the remainder of the building.
The Varsity/JV locker room is designed primarily for football and features 115 open-front lockers. Nearby, the Freshman locker room provides 81 single-tier athletic lockers, creating a durable and functional space. Outside of football season, this locker room easily adapts to support other sports, maximizing the building’s year-round use.
A large, flexible team meeting room serves as a hub for instruction, strategy, and team-building. With seating for 150 or more, the space can transform to meet changing needs—dividing into as many as four smaller rooms through motorized operable partitions.
Athlete care is a central focus of the facility. The athletic training area is fully equipped for taping, physical therapy, ice and hydrotherapy, and includes a private consultation and exam room to ensure athletes receive focused, professional care in a supportive environment.
