Project Details
CSO’s ongoing work with Walmart includes the following services:
- Acting as Architect of Record on several simultaneous projects across the country.
- Determining preliminary project design criteria by integrating the compliance requirements of different Walmart departments into the final project design criteria.
- Developing, maintaining, and providing design criteria and bridging drawings, while communicating the project’s physical requirements to potential developers and evaluating how to adapt criteria to suit specific developer sites.
- Coordination with vendors to align material handling requirements with the automated building design.
- Working with general contractors and developers to ensure the final product aligns with the project requirements.
- Continual improvements and refinements of multiple distribution and fulfillment center facilities.
- Developing and maintaining prototype guidance for other designers working on Walmart Supply Chain facilities.
